Blast From The Past

And so here ye here ye, man came to be
and with his existence brought many things- pestilence, death, famine and grief.

It was the beginning of the technological prowess that man bequeathed himself that saw the inexplicable descent of man into oblivion.

And thus on the edge of fading away into the nothingness of non-existence that man brought on to himself, man looked up into the sky and asked: "Why God, if you are so almighty and so omnipotent, why do you allow suffering and disease rampantly sown? Why God do you allow your followers and believers to live lives of suffering for eternal pleasure that we can't even be sure of?"

And as man was about to fall into the cavernous depths of eternity, God came down and smiled softly.

With a jolly laugh and jingling bells, God replied. "What is heaven without purgatory? If heaven was so easily achieved would it not stop to be heaven for many? Heaven is what you as men make it, and yet today you have made heaven a place of simplicity materialism. Heaven can no longer be eternal to you as you have created a heaven where things eventually degrade with your ideas of worldly pleasure. Heaven in the past was unattainable because man forever saw Heaven as a concept of eternal peace and happiness whereas now with technology Heaven is just another place, attainable with all the skills and tools that man has created.

My love for mankind is that I give you misfortune so that you can realize the real meaning behind Heaven. Heaven is the only thing in man's life that man cannot achieve and it is because of that very idea Heaven is sought after by everyone. People have called Heaven different names and different things but in reality the very idea of having eternal peace through the hard-work of goodness and perseverance against sin is present in the hearts of everyone and hidden in the minds of the people."

And with a gentle bow and a jolly smile, God pulled mankind up. And despite Him knowing that even after all that- man would still never learn, He saved man from oblivion




Because God is Merciless.
